JEFF ROGERS

DRUMS

Jeff on stage at Shaws in 2010 with Bruce McCabe & The Rich Poor Men.

Jeff has been a drummer for a long time. He has talked of growing up listening to The Lamont Cranston Band and wondering what it would be like to be in a "band of that caliber". Well, that came to be in the early 90's when Jeff was asked to join the band after doing a side project with Larry Hayes and Andy Bailey in their short lived band 'The Bullheads'. Since those early days, Jeff has been in numerous bands of the highest caliber.

Jeff left the band in 1998 to play with Big John Dickerson. Since then, Jeff has also played with Al Rapone, Paul Mayasich and Sugar Blue, among others. When Jeff left, original drummer Jim Novak returned to take the reins. Jim moved to California in June 2003 and Jeff has returned. So, Jeff returned to the Cranstons to replace the guy who replaced him.

Again, after all those years, Jeff has returned again in 2011. His latest project was playing with Bruce McCabe & The Rich Poor Men, until the band took a short hiatus in November 2011. You can never keep an old Cranston down.

Jeff is a veteran of the California music scene as well as Minneapolis. He has also played with The Rhythm Doctors. Jeff, who's unique style can be heard on the debut Rhythm Doctors CD, was also the drummer on the Cranston's national release "Roll With Me".

Welcome back Jeff......Rock 'em.
