Inside the bar before opening. The walls, bars and the design over the stage

Well, the party started early. I flew in a night early. Mike rode out out with a friend (Steve) and also got in a night early. We went down to the club to get a look at the joint. Popped in to the restaurant to see if we could find someone in charge. The wait for a table was an hour or two. BUT, right away, I ran into Danny (Aykroyd). He spent a few seconds talking to someone and they came over to us and said "right this way, we'll seat you now. Anything you want is on the house". They even set us up with tickets to the show that night (I forget who it was, but I'll look it up). We felt like royalty, thanks to Dan.

A trip to the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame before the hectic day begins tomorrow. Courtesy of free passes from the club. Inside the hall, I ran into Paul Shafer, who remembered me from L.A. We talked for quite awhile about Lamont, etc. He said "Lamont is all Danny has been talking about all week. He's excited you're on the show." We walked around the Hall a bit checking out the exhibits.

Sound check early in the afternoon. Dave & Shannon (Dan's friends) and Glen Clark

Dan & Jim and the boys out back preparing for the grand entrance Harley ride. The crowd is already gathered at the front door waiting.
